I want to reiterate what a previous commenter said about the Finch/Sportsman Club intersection. It is unsafe for pedestrians. Traffic heading north up Finch is often speeding, making crossing any of the three streets a bit unnerving. But I'd like to add that the intersection is also a trail intersection. One trail comes from Weaver Road to the east. And another trail comes from the north along the west side of Sportsman Club Road. And in the not too distant future, a pedestrian route to Gazzam Lake Park along Carmella Lane will cross here. Aaron Claiborne can give you an estimate when the route will be completed (this summer?). This combination of cars and pedestrians is certainly problematic. One solution may be to turn the intersection into an all-way stop with crosswalks. Currently, only traffic from Sportsman Club is required to stop. It would be a relatively simple solution and one that I assume would not be particularly expensive. Thank you.
